Reggae w Stodole is an independent music festival that has been taking place in Kobiór (small town in the south of Poland) since 2003. It is free, not commercial and organized by volunteers with some help from local authorities and sponsors. Year after year, it has been growing, gaining new audience and improving in all respects.
Reggae w Stodole started in 2003 in Alojzy Brańczyk's barn, where it was taking place for many years. In 2016, the festival moved to a new place and has been organized by Stowarzyszenie Kobiórska Inicjatywa Kulturalna. It is a relatively small event but it is big for the local community and its supporters. In order to keep doing it better and better, every year we have to put a lot of effort into it and rely on rather small help from the authorities and sponsors.
